VOLUNTEER HELP NEEDED.

Indigo Threads is a Coachella Valley, California USA based small non-profit humanitarian Organization.  We are dedicated to the development and support of educational opportunities for desperately poor rural ethnic children in the developing Country of Laos-villages located in Southern Laos. Our time, energy and funds are committed to this single Project.  Indigo Threads gives the gift of education; a gift that lasts forever.

Indigo Threads is a ‘hands on’ Organization meaning we personally distribute our donations directly to the people we assist.  We communicate and work directly with village chiefs, teachers, student, parents and Education Departments determining needs and evaluating results.  We operate on a ‘shoestring’ budget.

I am looking for a small group of dedicated volunteers with a variety of skills who have a sincere desire to help make education a reality for these children.  You can help us make a life changing difference in these children’s lives and that of their families.

EXAMPLES OF VOLUNTEER NEEDS:

---Develop and organize a large email based mailing list to be used
     to solicit donations and distribute newsletters.               

---Internet research:
     --Locate grants and other sources of funding.    

     --Research volunteer programs-live/work in Laos.

---Write press releases and post to on-line US and International newspapers.

---Write, format and design twice-a-year on-line newsletters.

---Contact Churches or Church groups for support.

---Contact large Corporation Charitable/Humanitarian/Diversity Programs     
      for sponsorship and/or donations.

---Help manage and continue to develop website.

---Promote Southern Laos villagers handmade handicraft.

---Coordinate Volunteer Program.
